Yesterday I went to Brooklyn to go out to dinner with EL, Cage, Katie B, Kristin, and Gayle (Camu‘s Fiance) to celebrate Mu’s birthday and on the way there was a this awesome rainbow over BK dropping down through the gray clouds. There was actually two of them and you can see them both in the picture. I don’t think I ever saw a rainbow in Queens growing up or in Brooklyn for that matter. Not really common in the city and in general. Either way it was dope. There were people taking pictures of it in their cars and on the street. Cool beans. Hard not to notice the billboard though…this is the world we live in.

Today Fight Night Round 4 hit’s stores and features a remix that my friend Amplive did for Tokyo Police Club featuring myself and Aesop Rock. It’s pretty cool that Saddle Creek decided to license this out to EA Sports. I don’t play video games anymore but this would be the first time anything I’m on is featured in a game. The cover is sick though.

On Tuesday afternoon I took the train up to Torrington, CT to visit F. Sean Michael Martin at the CC (Cardboard City) Mansion East and rehearse with Chauncey for Cage‘s upcoming Depart From Me tour for which I will be the main support. read more after the jump. (more…)

Just got back from Chapter 7‘s studio. Today/tonight we pretty much wrapped up all the vocals for my Gas Galaxy EP coming out later this year on Definitive Jux. Chapter 7 engineered and produced the whole EP front to back including the title track. He is responsible for production on songs from my last album Scifentology II such as Nuclear Society and Trust is a Timebomb. Definitely an amazing producer.

I just got back from seeing The Hangover a little while ago and I got psyched on doing a review for the new blog piece. The feeling will undoubtedly wane as I continue an effort to try to review every movie I see in the theater on here from now on, or so I’m telling you and myself.
