Not much to report today. It’s a drive day and I still have a fever, in and out of sweats, and coughing my lungs out. We go out to breakfast and I still can’t eat normally. This is the way I come home from tour 10 pounds lighter. Chauncey also has not been feeling well, puking. Last night Todd had another one of his “Buddies” come to the show. This buddy was much cooler and he works for Skullcandy, the company that makes edgy ear-bud headphones for iPods, etc. Todd’s buddy gave both him and Cage free headphones, but for some reason they weren’t Skullcandy ones. Anyway, Todd broke them out during the drive and a good part of the ride is spent making fun of how hideous these headphones are. First, they look like suspiciously like skulls from the Terminator movies. They stick out so far when they are in your ears, they look like the bolts in Frankenstein’s neck. And the funniest part of all is how ridiculous they look on a grown man. We all had a good chuckle and that was the highlight of this day and ride, to me. We pull up to the Red Lion hotel and it keeps reminding me of Mad Lion the 90′s reggae-rapper if you know who I’m talking about. This place looks good. Waste no time…crash.
