NEW SINGLE – HYPETRONIC + LUNICE RMX + INSTRUMENTALS

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

Design: Oliver Cartwright

This month’s track is the release of the premiere single from my Gas Galaxy album. It is called Hypetronic and was co-produced by Chapter 7 and myself. Chapter 7 on the mix as well. My Cubic Zirconia family released this maxi-single style EP on their imprint, Don’t Cry Recordings which features an exclusive remix by Lunice (LuckyMe/Mad Decent) including instrumentals. Do yourself a favor and check out Lunice if you’ve never heard his music.

I think it’s awesome to be able to do this and ultimately one of the creative and cool things I’ve been wanting to do with this project and these songs including remixes, video’s etc. that are coming soon!!

Listen to a preview of Hypetronic, the remix, and instrumentals below and purchase it on iTunes today.

LIVE FROM NY

Sunday, September 26th, 2010

Hit up 88 Palace Friday night for the Cubic Zirconia/Hudson Mohawke show with other special guests like Machine Drum and Eclaire Fifi. This place is in Chinatown and a real crazy spot to have a show and you could possibly cop some official Chinese food (not fried rice) earlier in the evening. Poppin off. Didn’t take too many shots. got caught up in the mix and the other ones were mad fuzzy and I know why.

the illustrious CZ

see creature projections behind the scenes

Hudson Mohawke and the whole Lucky Me me posse came out to NY from the UK to rep and rage. Good people and good vibes when worlds collide. We popped bottles, talked about future projects, and did it up proper.

BLACK & BLUE STUDIOS

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

Yesterday hit up the brand new Black & Blue Studios for a meeting of the minds with my Don’t Cry Recs family, Nick Hook and Tiombe Lockhart of Cubic Zirconia, the gawd-ess Jess Jubilee and the OG DPalumbo. Had a listening session of new Gas Galaxy tracks and the upcoming debut Cubic Zirconia LP. Margaritas and thangs ensued. As you can see the view is spectacular.

Nick Hook deep in the space pit. Trading plugins, beats banging, and picking prospects for new material….we went in.

This place is crawling with analog synths and drum machines i.e. heaven. This is home to a chosen few and the undeniable source of a lot of incredible music you will be hearing in the future for sure. very exciting shit. get into it.
